This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected when you visit the BLKWORX TV website, use or install the BLKWORX TV progressive web application (the “App”), create an account, rent or view content, save titles, subscribe to communications, submit a copyright complaint, or otherwise interact with BLKWORX TV.

This policy is intended for a United States audience. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. BLKWORX TV will honor rights that apply to your information and your jurisdiction.

1. Information We May Collect

Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, username, account identifiers, and account preferences.
Rental and transaction information, such as the title rented, date and time of purchase, amount charged, transaction or receipt identifiers, rental status, and rental expiration information.
Viewing and engagement information, such as titles viewed, playback progress, Continue Watching activity, saved or favorite titles, and interactions with the platform.
Device and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, and technical identifiers used to operate and secure the service.
Communication preferences, including email preferences, push-notification status, and web-push subscription information needed to deliver notifications.
Information submitted when you contact BLKWORX TV for support, make a privacy request, or report a rental or playback issue.
Copyright complaint information submitted in a DMCA notice or counter-notification. These materials may be retained as legal and compliance records and shared with affected parties as permitted or required by law.
Creator information, where applicable, including business, distribution, payout, tax, profile, and content-related records used to administer creator participation.

2. Browsing Without an Account

Visitors may browse portions of BLKWORX TV and view content made publicly available without creating an account. BLKWORX TV may still process limited technical information necessary to deliver, secure, and measure the service.

3. Payment Information

BLKWORX TV may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process rentals and other transactions. BLKWORX TV does not intend to directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own systems. Payment information submitted during checkout may be processed directly by the applicable payment provider.

4. Viewing, Rental, and App Information

BLKWORX TV may maintain rental entitlements, rental expiration dates, titles viewed, playback progress, saved titles, and similar activity so features such as My Rentals, Continue Watching, My List/Favorites, account history, and playback access can function properly.

The installed App may use browser-supported technologies such as local storage, service workers, caching, and web-push subscriptions. Sensitive account, checkout, payment, and entitlement information is not intended to be cached for offline public access.

5. Email and Push Notifications

BLKWORX TV may offer email alerts and App push notifications for new releases, account activity, rental-related information, creator communications, and other platform updates. Push notifications require permission through your browser or device and may be disabled through your device or browser settings. Where available, email and push preferences may be managed independently.

You may unsubscribe from eligible marketing email messages using the available unsubscribe method. BLKWORX TV may still send transactional or service-related communications reasonably necessary to operate an account, rental, payment, security process, or creator relationship.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

BLKWORX TV may use cookies, local storage, session storage, service workers, IP-derived technical data, device or browser identifiers, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, provide playback and rental functionality, secure the service, measure platform activity, and improve the viewer experience. Some privacy laws treat persistent identifiers as personal information, particularly in connection with children under 13 or cross-service tracking.

6A. Audience Analytics and Geographic Reporting

BLKWORX TV collects and analyzes website traffic, video viewing activity, and audience engagement to improve platform performance, support participating content creators, and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

Information collected may include website visits, video views, viewing duration, playback completion, referring websites, marketing campaign identifiers, browser or device identifiers, and approximate geographic location.

Where enabled, BLKWORX TV may use third-party geolocation services to process IP addresses for the purpose of estimating a viewer’s country, state or region, and city. These estimates do not provide precise physical locations. Raw IP addresses are not retained in BLKWORX TV’s geographic analytics records, although they may be processed by service providers or retained separately in operational or security logs.

Authorized platform administrators may access comprehensive audience analytics. Participating content creators may access analytics associated with their assigned titles. Reports provided to advertisers and business partners are generally presented as aggregated audience statistics rather than personally identifiable viewing histories.

BLKWORX TV handles this information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including requirements concerning notice, consent, privacy choices, and data protection.

7. How We Use Information

Operate, maintain, secure, and improve BLKWORX TV.
Provide streaming access, rentals, expiration controls, and viewer account features.
Remember playback progress, saved titles, and personalized viewing functions.
Process transactions and maintain transaction and accounting records.
Communicate with users and deliver requested email or push notifications.
Provide customer support and investigate rental, payment, playback, fraud, abuse, copyright, or security issues.
Administer creator participation, analytics, revenue calculations, and payments where applicable.
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations.

8. Service Providers and Disclosure of Information

BLKWORX TV may use service providers for website hosting, video hosting and delivery, payment processing, email delivery, security, analytics, and other technical or operational functions. Current providers may include Stripe for payments, Bunny.net for video hosting and delivery, and hosting or email providers used by BLKWORX TV.

Information may be disclosed to service providers as reasonably necessary for them to perform services for BLKWORX TV; where required by law or valid legal process; to protect the rights, security, or property of BLKWORX TV, users, creators, or others; to investigate fraud, misuse, copyright complaints, or security incidents; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.

BLKWORX TV does not sell personal information in exchange for money. Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly. Where applicable, BLKWORX TV will provide and honor legally required privacy choices.

9. Video Viewing Privacy

BLKWORX TV treats information that can identify a person as having rented, requested, or viewed a specific title as sensitive viewing information. BLKWORX TV does not intentionally disclose personally identifiable title-level viewing information to third parties except as reasonably necessary to provide the service, process a user request or transaction, protect the service and its users, comply with law, or where the viewer has provided any consent required by applicable law.

BLKWORX TV will not knowingly configure third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics technology to receive personally identifiable title-level viewing information unless the use is permitted by applicable law and any required consent or choice has been provided.

10. Creators

Creators participating on BLKWORX TV may provide additional business, payout, tax, profile, content, and distribution-related information. Creator information may also be governed by the applicable Creator Distribution Agreement or other agreement between the creator and BLKWORX TV. These public viewer policies do not replace creator-specific agreements.

11. Data Retention

BLKWORX TV may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain rental and business records, administer creator relationships, process payments and payouts, satisfy tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, administer copyright complaints, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information. You may also have rights concerning certain uses or disclosures of information.

13. Age and Children’s Privacy

BLKWORX TV is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. A user must be at least 13 years old to independently create a BLKWORX TV account. Children under 13 may not independently create an account, enroll themselves in email or push notifications, purchase rentals, or otherwise submit personal information directly through the platform.

A parent or legal guardian may use the parent or guardian’s own account to access age-appropriate content for members of the household and is responsible for supervising minors’ use of the service. A person purchasing or authorizing a paid rental must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in that person’s jurisdiction.

If BLKWORX TV becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, BLKWORX TV will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise address that information. Because privacy requirements may apply to persistent identifiers such as cookies, IP addresses, and device identifiers, BLKWORX TV will review analytics, advertising, and similar technologies used in connection with content directed to or primarily intended for children and implement safeguards required by applicable law.

14. Security

BLKWORX TV uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission, electronic storage method, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

BLKWORX TV may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, technology, legal requirements, or business practices change. The revised policy will display an updated effective date or version. Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided.
