BLKWORX TV is a division of BlkWorx Productions LLC. These Rental Terms apply to paid digital rentals purchased through BLKWORX TV and supplement the Terms of Use. By completing a rental purchase, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to these Rental Terms and the Terms of Use.
1. Eligibility to Purchase a Rental
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase or authorize a BLKWORX TV rental. A parent or legal guardian may purchase a rental for household viewing and is responsible for supervising minors who access the rented content.
2. Rental Access Period
Unless otherwise stated for a particular title, the 30-day rental period begins immediately when payment is successfully completed and expires automatically at the end of that period.
The applicable expiration date and/or time may be displayed in My Rentals and transaction confirmation. After the rental period expires, continued access requires a new rental unless BLKWORX TV expressly states otherwise.
3. Limited License - No Ownership
A rental grants a limited, temporary, personal, non-commercial license to stream the selected title during the applicable rental period. Purchasing a rental does not transfer ownership of the title or any copyright, distribution, reproduction, or other intellectual-property rights.
4. Pricing and Payment
Rental pricing is displayed before checkout. Applicable taxes or legally required charges may be added where required. Payment may be processed by a third-party payment processor. A rental becomes active when payment is successfully completed and the platform grants the corresponding entitlement.
5. Playback Requirements
Rental playback may require a compatible device, supported browser, active internet connection, current platform software, and compliance with BLKWORX TV’s technical and account requirements. Streaming quality may vary based on internet speed, device capability, browser settings, and network conditions.
A rental may be accessed from compatible devices, but only one active stream of the same rental may be used at a time unless BLKWORX TV expressly states otherwise. BLKWORX TV does not impose a fixed registered-device limit under these Rental Terms unless a particular title or technical requirement states otherwise.
6. Refunds and Rental Issues
Because BLKWORX TV rentals provide immediate access to digital content, rental purchases are generally final once access has been provided. BLKWORX TV may issue a refund, replacement rental, extension of access, or another reasonable remedy for circumstances such as a duplicate charge; a verified BLKWORX-side technical failure that prevents access and cannot be restored within a reasonable period; or removal of a title during an active rental when meaningful access cannot reasonably be restored.
Refunds generally will not be provided for changes of mind, device incompatibility, internet connectivity problems outside BLKWORX TV’s control, failure to view the title before the 30-day period expires, or where the rented content has already been substantially viewed, except where required by law or where BLKWORX TV determines another remedy is appropriate.
For discretionary refund review, a title is considered “substantially viewed” when BLKWORX TV playback records indicate that 25% or more of the title’s total runtime was actually viewed. Where the platform can distinguish playback from seeking or scrubbing, jumping forward in the timeline will not by itself count as watched time. This threshold does not eliminate remedies for duplicate charges, verified BLKWORX-side failures, removal of a title during an active rental, or other rights required by law.
7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If a rental charge is disputed, reversed, or subject to a chargeback, BLKWORX TV may temporarily suspend access to the affected rental while the dispute is pending or payment status is being reviewed. If payment ultimately remains valid or is reinstated, BLKWORX TV may restore or extend access to account for time lost during suspension. If payment is reversed, refunded, or otherwise not collected, access to the affected rental may terminate. A single good-faith payment dispute will not, by itself, require termination of the viewer’s entire BLKWORX TV account.
8. Deadline for Reporting a Rental Problem
A request concerning a rental problem should be submitted within seven (7) days after the issue occurs or is reasonably discovered. This reporting period does not limit non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
9. How to Contact BLKWORX TV About a Rental
If you experience a problem with a rental, believe you were charged incorrectly, or have questions about rental access, email info@blkworxtv.com and include:
- Your full name.
- The email address used for the rental.
- The title of the film or program rented.
- The date of purchase.
- The amount charged.
- Your order, receipt, or transaction number, if available.
- A brief description of the issue.
- For playback or technical problems, the device and browser you were using and a screenshot of any error message, if available.
Do not email your full credit or debit card number, card security code (CVV), password, or other sensitive login information.
10. Removal of a Title During an Active Rental
BLKWORX TV may occasionally need to remove a title because of licensing, creator distribution, legal, security, or technical circumstances. If a paid title is removed during an active rental and meaningful access cannot reasonably be restored, BLKWORX TV may provide a refund, replacement rental, extension, or other appropriate remedy.
11. Abuse and Misuse
BLKWORX TV may deny or limit discretionary remedies where there is evidence of fraud, repeated refund abuse, attempted circumvention of access controls, unauthorized copying or redistribution, or other misuse of the Service, except where a remedy is required by applicable law.
12. Changes to Rental Terms
BLKWORX TV may update these Rental Terms for future transactions. The version in effect at the time a rental is purchased will govern that rental, except where a change is required by law or benefits the viewer without reducing an existing right.
